The Water Matters Alliance, was one of nine finalists in the 2009 Alliance Contracting Excellence (ACE) Awards in the category of ‘Excellence in Capital Projects’. This submission is an example of the extremely high standard of submissions received for the 2009 awards.
The Water Matters Alliance (WMA) including Abigroup Contractors, Aquatech- Maxcon, GHD, Townsville City Council and United Group Infrastructure, developed and worked to a clear vision of delivering for the community outstanding water reuse facilities for the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area that delivered and promoted sustainability through innovation and collaboration.
