HI MIck, I just was looking at the site and saw your message - you many be interested in IQPC's upcoming event: Road Design, Construction and Upgrading. Its taking place in June. If you want more information you can call in on 02 9229 1000. Or - the Annual ALliance Contracting event information is available on this site under events in the top nav bar and that has a high percentage of representation from road projects. ALl the best

Hi Mick, I can recommend a couple of things. There are two groups: IQPC and AAA who provide specific training on Alliance Contracting in Australia. I am unsure of the AAA's current event calendar but you can visit their site at: www.alliancingassociation.org . Alternatively IQPC provide training on alliance contracting in Nov and May each year at their bi-annual summits. The May event has a focus specific to Services and Maintenance alliances and also touches on Asset Management. The events are listed in the events section of this site (May information will be available shortly). However, I confess I dont know of an event that is focused entirely on Alliance contracting particular to roads and Highways. The IQPC event represents roads, rail, water, and utilities (as well as the NOPS). I hope that helps.
